Good morning, Mets fans.
Major League Baseball announced on Saturday that Mets outfielder Juan Soto will represent the team as a starting outfielder on the 2026 National League All-Star team.
But before the All-Star break is reached, the Mets dropped another game Saturday night, their third in a row. They were defeated 14-3 by the Braves late Saturday night.
The four-game series against continues on Sunday at Truist Park. Right-handed pitcher Nolan McLean (5-5, 3.78 ERA, 113 SO) takes the mound for New York against left-handed pitcher Martin Perez (6-5, 3.27 ERA, 61 SO) for the Braves.
There will be a wraparound game on Monday as well.
