Good morning, Mets fans!

After a couple of days off, the Mets are back in action on Thursday as they return from the All-Star break with a three-game set in Philadelphia against the Phillies. Despite having a top payroll in the majors, the Mets hold the fourth-worst record in the league as they sit 17 games under .500 as they look towards the second half of the season. With little to play for in terms of a playoff push, the second juncture of the 2026 season will be highly impactful as the Mets look to deal off veteran pieces at the deadline and hope to see continual development from young pieces such as A.J. Ewing and Carson Benge.
