Robinson Canó had a successful day at the plate for the Dominican Republic in their first game of the Caribbean Series. He was 2-for-3 with the game-winning hit for the team from the Dominic Republic. 

Today is also the birthday of Davey Johnson, the manager of the 1986 World Series Mets. Happy birthday, Davey!
