The Mets hired Jim Riggleman for their bench coach opening.

Congratulations are in order for Zack Wheeler and his soon-to-be wife Dominque on their engagement!

The Mariners have reached out to both New York teams about acquiring All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano per Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Before he signed a 10-year, 240 million deal with the M’s prior to the 2014 campaign, Cano spent nine seasons in the Bronx.
