Beloved Red Sox broadcaster and former player Jerry Remy died on Sunday at the age of 68. He was in the midst of his seventh battle with cancer. The entire baseball community mourns his loss.
On a lighter note, Halloween is in the rearview mirror as we swerve into November. There will be November baseball this year, as the Astros kept their World Series hopes alive with a 9-5 victory over the Braves.
Atlanta went up 4-0 in the first inning on Adam Duvall‘s grand slam, and appeared to have the series all but won. But the Astros rallied to come back and win. The teams will travel back to Houston for Game 6 on Tuesday, with the Braves still leading the series 3-2.
