Good morning, Mets fans!

Adolis García went deep twice and drove in five runs, while Corey Seager finished a triple shy of the cycle as the Rangers clinched their first American League pennant since 2011 with an 11-4 victory over the Astros. García won the series MVP award, setting a new major league record by driving in 15 runs in the series.

In the National League, Tommy Pham and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit back-to-back homers, and Merrill Kelly held the Phillies to one run on three hits, striking out eight over five innings as the D-Backs forced a Game 7 with a 5-1 victory. Ketel Marte drove in two runs, including an RBI triple, extending his postseason hitting streak to 15 games. He ties Marquis Grissom for the longest hitting streak to begin a postseason career. This marks the first time the Phillies will ever play in a Game 7.
