Good morning, Mets fans!

Bryce Montes de Oca was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right elbow, Russell Dorsey of Bally Sports reports. The fireballing righty will refrain from throwing for the time being and will be re-evaluated in about a week. More importantly, though, Montes de Oca doesn’t have any ligament damage, which is the best-case scenario for the team.
