Good morning, Mets fans!

Evan Drellich of The Athletic reported Sunday that Major League Baseball has created an “economic reform” committee in the wake of Steve Cohen’s spending habits and Bally Sports’ financial struggles. The committee will be made up exclusively of team owners, and Rob Manfred says this is for the owners to talk amongst each other about how they see the game and possible solutions to issues. Mark Walter of the Dodgers will be the chair of the committee and will be joined by the Tigers’ Chris Illitch, John Henry of the Red Sox, and Dick Monfort of the Rockies, among others.
