According to Anthony DiComo of MLB, the Mets have settled arbitration contracts with all nine of their eligible candidates:
Michael Conforto will make $8M, Edwin Diaz: $5.1M, Robert Gsellman: $1.225M, Seth Lugo: $2M, Jake Marisnick: $3.3125M, Steven Matz: $5M, Brandon Nimmo: $2.175, Marcus Stroman: $12M, and Noah Syndergaard: $9.7M.
MMO’s Jacob Resnick reports that Endy Chavez has been promoted in the Mets minors league coaching system to the St. Lucie (A+) team and will serve as their bench coach in the upcoming 2020 season.
Resnick also posted an outlook at FanGraphs’ 2020 Mets prospect list on MMO on Friday.

To make room on their roster for the recently acquired RHP Austin Brice, the Red Sox designated INF Marco Hernandez for assignment.
