The Mets won their fifth straight game Sunday, but Jacob deGrom exited after five shutout innings with tightness in his right side. This comes just six days after deGrom skipped his last start with inflammation in his right lat.
The Mets are back in action Tuesday against the Orioles at Citi Field.

Mets manager Luis Rojas said deGrom will be getting an MRI to see exactly what the star pitcher is dealing with in his right side.
Relief pitcher Drew Smith was recalled to the Mets active roster and Trevor Hildenberger was optioned to Triple-A. Smith has posted a 4.11 ERA in 35 career appearances.
