Good morning, Mets fans!

With the numerous Hot Stove developments on Tuesday, some smaller news items were overlooked, notably that the Mets will select 27th in next year’s amateur draft. This is due to the Mets’ pick moving back 10 spots as a penalty for being above the luxury tax threshold.

Additionally, the White Sox secured the first overall pick, which marks the first time they have held the No. 1 selection since 1977, when they drafted Harold Baines.
