Steven Matz continued a strong start to his season, picking up the win while going seven innings and allowing just two runs on five hits while striking out four. Edwin Diaz also picked up his eighth save of the season.

Zack Wheeler (2-2, 4.85 ERA) takes the mound for New York tonight and will be opposed by Tanner Roark (1-1, 3.24 ERA) of the Reds. Tonight’s game is scheduled for 7:10 PM ET and can be seen on SNY as well as heard on WCBS 880.
