The Mets lost 3-2 in extra innings last night. The Mets were losing 1-0 heading into the seventh, but with the bases loaded and one out, Yoenis Cespedes recorded an RBI single. Asdrubal Cabrera was thrown out at home trying to score on the play. Heading into the tenth, Erik Goeddel gave up a two-run home run to A.J. Pollock. Michael Conforto led off the next inning with a home run but the Mets still ended up losing.
