Good morning, Mets fans!

Friday night was one that will be remembered forever.

The Mets tossed their second no-hitter in franchise history, this time a combined effort against the Phillies. Even more fittingly, 2022 marks the 10-year anniversary of the first no-hitter in Mets history, as Johan Santana finally got the Mets on the board.

It was a team effort to get the job done, as the Mets wound up using five pitchers. It was not an easy win, as they walked six batters and threw 159 pitches.

Tylor Megill was incredible to start the game, tossing five innings and striking out five. Then Drew Smith, Joely Rodriguez, Seth Lugo, and Edwin Diaz followed, providing four no-hit innings in relief against a potent Phillies offense.
