Good morning Mets fans!

The New York Metropolitans wrapped up their celebratory weekend of the 1969 World Series Champions with a thrilling come from behind victory thanks to the bats of 2019 All-Stars, Jeff McNeil and Pete Alonso. The eighth inning heroics helped the team salvaged the final game against Atlanta by a score of 8-5.

The team will take a day off today before welcoming in the New York Yankees for a two-game set to wrap up the 2019 Subway Series.

Jeurys Familia has been sent to Triple-A Syracuse to continue his rehab assignment in lieu of activating him at this point.

Justin Wilson appeared in an inning for the Brooklyn Cyclones on Sunday where he struck out two and stranded a pair of baserunners as he continues his rehab.

Mets 2019 draftee, Jake Mangum has also joined the Cyclones as he begins his professional baseball career.
