Carlos Carrasco earned the win, going 6 2/3 innings while allowing two runs, and Edwin Díaz got his seventh save of the year. The Mets are now 21-10 on the year and lead the Braves by seven games in the NL East. The Amazins send Tylor Megill (4-1, 2.43 ERA) to the mound against Aaron Sanchez (1-2, 8.56 ERA), looking to secure yet another series victory.

The Mets moved Jacob deGrom to the 60-day IL to make room for lefty Locke St. John, whom they claimed from the Cubs. Billy Eppler told reporters though that deGrom was cleared to start throwing lightly off flat ground. The two-time Cy Young award winner is scheduled to have more imaging done on his scapula next week.

Eppler also told reporters that Sean Reid-Foley will undergo Tommy John Surgery today. The 26-year-old righty suffered a torn UCL back on April 30.

Mets outfield prospect Alex Ramirez was named to Baseball Americas Hot Sheet this week, checking in at fifth on the list. The 19-year-old was the Florida State League Player of the Week, posting a 1.445 OPS with six extra-base hits.

The Miami Marlins announced they will be teaming up with Magic City Apes to introduce the Miami Marlins Bored Ape NFT Art Display on June 3. Approximately 20 pieces of the NFT will be displayed around LoanDepot Park that day.

The Phillies acquired former Met Corey Oswalt from the Giants and assigned him to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Tim Anderson‘s one-game suspension was reduced to just a fine after an appeal. Anderson was disciplined for making an obscene gesture toward fans in Cleveland.

Evan Drellich of The Athletic reports that a class action lawsuit between minor leaguers and the Commissioner’s Office over spring training pay has been settled. The lawsuit was filed in 2014, and a trial was set to begin next month.

Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports that Twins’ right-hander Chris Paddack is seeking another opinion on his elbow and may require surgery.

The Cardinals optioned former All-Star shortstop Paul DeJong to Triple-A. He had just a .426 OPS in 86 plate appearances. DeJong has a career .327/.354/.710 slash line with 10 homers and 11 doubles in 113 plate appearances against the Mets. The Cardinals will be at Citi Field for four-game series starting Monday.
