Good Morning Mets Fans. The New York Mets (12-15) welcome in the pesky Miami Marlins (12-15) as they open up their latest homestand. Rafael Montero will take the ball for New York as Tom Koehler takes it for Miami.

It is expected by many to be Montero’s last chance to prove to the organization that he belongs. After a stellar spring he struggled mightily in his time with the team in early April. After his early season demotion he has pitched well for Las Vegas, compiling a 1.74 ERA with a WHIP of 0.68 over 10.1 innings.

Tonight’s game is scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM ET and can be seen on SNY as well as heard on 710 WOR.
