Currently, there is not a concrete protocol for players who are using the facilities.

Chandler Rome, Astros beat writer for the Houston Chronicle, reported that the Astros had a player test positive for the coronavirus at their West Palm Beach facility.

Phil Mackey of SKOR North reported that the Minnesota Twins have announced that they are removing the Calvin Griffith statue at Target Field. Their statement reads, “While we acknowledge the prominent rule Calvin Griffith player in our history, we cannot remains silent and continue ignoring the racist comments he made in Waseca in 1978.”

1963: The Yankees and Mets participated in their first Mayor’s Trophy Game, the in-season exhibition game between NYC cross-town rivals. The first Mayor’s Trophy Games were between the Yankees and the Giants and sometimes the Dodgers when they were in New York. Once they left New York, the competition was revived in ’63 between the Mets and Yankees.
