Good morning, Mets fans!

After splitting Monday’s doubleheader, the Mets will be back at Citi Field on Tuesday night for Game 3 against the Braves. New York will be sending righty Marcus Stroman to the bump to face off against Atlanta right-hander Charlie Morton.

First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. and will broadcasted on WCBS 880 and WQBU 92.7 and can be seen on SNY.

Mets owner Steve Cohen announced new workplace polices in an email sent to the Mets on Monday, per Britt Ghiroli of The Athletic. New polices include expanding the team’s anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policy and strengthening processes for investigating workplace issues.

Blue Jays young star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has decided to not participate in this year’s Home Run Derby in Denver, Co., according to Hazel Mae of Sportsnet. Guerrero Jr. said he’s looking forward to the All-Star Game but wants to use the break to regroup and mentally refresh.

1987: After spending over two weeks preparing to return to the Mets, Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver announced his retirement. The three-time Cy Young Award winner finished his career with 311 wins, 198 of which came with the Mets.
