Good morning, Mets fans! There’s only 24 Days until Opening Day!

Today, the Mets have an off-day. Clover Park will be locked up and players will be able to do whatever their hearts desire. Mets baseball will resume on Tuesday against the Marlins. Noah Syndergaard is among the Mets hurlers that will make an appearance.

The Mets had two split-squad games yesterday, winning one and losing the other. Jacob deGrom made his Spring debut, firing three scoreless frames against the Nationals. Michael Conforto hit a birthday blast into the Berm as the Mets emerged victorious 3-1.

Meanwhile, at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, the Marlins beat up on a trio of Mets farmhands. Pedro Payano, Kevin Smith and Francisco Rios allowed two earned runs apiece. The Mets offense was virtually silent, recording only three hits.
