Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets officially announced their 2022 coaching staff Friday. Joining Buck Showalter will be Glenn Sherlock as bench coach, Jeremy Hefner as pitching coach, Eric Chavez as hitting coach, Wayne Kirby as first base coach, Joey Cora as third base coach, Craig Bjornson as bullpen coach, and Jeremy Barnes as assistant hitting coach. Hefner is the only returning coach.

The MMO News Desk released an article that went into further detail on all of the coaches for the 2022 season.

2020: Mets name Luis Rojas as their next manager to replace Carlos Beltran. Rojas managed the Mets in 2020 and 2021, and had a 103-119 record as skipper. While neither were winning seasons, 2021 was the better of the two as the Mets had a .475 winning percentage.
