The Mets lost a tough 18-inning battle against the Brewers 3-2 on Saturday. Amed Rosario drove in the first run with an RBI triple, scoring Wilson Ramos. Pete Alonso hit the game-tying home run in the top of the ninth. Zack Wheeler had a very solid outing, going seven innings, giving up two runs, a walk and collecting 10 strikeouts. Chris Flexen took the loss, giving up the game-winning hit to Ryan Braun.
Today, the Mets face the Brewers for the final time in the regular season. Jason Vargas is set to start against Zach Davies. The game will start at 2:10 p.m. and can be viewed on SNY.
