Good morning, Mets fans.

With the loss Saturday night, New York is on the brink of losing its chances at an NL East crown. Max Scherzer was shaky and the offense was only able to push across two runs, resulting in the team’s second straight loss to the Braves. They now trail Atlanta by a single game.

The Mets and Braves will wrap up their season series with an upmost important final game tonight. Charlie Morton (9-6, 4.29 ERA) takes the mound for Atlanta against Chris Bassitt (15-8, 3.27 ERA) for New York at 7:08 p.m. ET.
