The Mets avoided a four-game sweep and broke a five-game losing streak by beating the Atlanta Braves by a score of 7-2.

On Tuesday, the Mets will make their way to Washington DC to play a two-game set against the Nationals. Left-hander Steven Matz (01, 3.18 ERA) will be taking the mound for the Mets and Washington’s starter has yet to be announced.
