According to Bill Ladson of MLB.com, the New York Mets have launched a new Mets Connect program that will reward Mets fans for their loyalty.

Looking ahead to later Tuesday night, the Mets (61-57) welcome the Athletics (50-69) to Citi Field for a three-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET with Paul Blackburn (5-2, 3.86 ERA) on the mound for New York.

Jeff Passan of ESPN reported that Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran was suspended for two games after directing an anti-gay slur at a fan during Sunday’s game. The suspension was effective immediately, which caused Duran to miss Monday night’s game. The Boston Red Sox later released a statement regarding Duran’s suspension.

According to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, the Los Angeles Dodgers said they designated Amed Rosario for assignment in order to make room to activate Mookie Betts back onto the roster.

Per Jorge Castillo of ESPN, the Seattle Mariners and Victor Robles have agreed upon a two-year, $9.75 million contract extension with a $9 million team option for 2027. The deal also includes $2 million in bonuses and escalators.

According to Mark Bowman of MLB.com, Snitker confirmed Michael Harris II will be activated Wednesday.
