Good morning, Mets fans!

Nick Madrigal left Sunday’s split-squad game in West Palm Beach in the bottom of the first inning after he dislocated his shoulder trying to make a play at shortstop. Madrigal will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. The 27-year-old was expected to be in the mix for the super-utility role on the Mets’ bench. He played in just 51 games in 2024 due to a fractured hand.
