After a long offseason, baseball is finally back! While wins and losses may be meaningless for the time being, you can finally watch your favorite team play games once again.

The Mets will kick off spring training today by taking on the Atlanta Braves at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie at 1:10 p.m. You can watch the game on SNY.

Jacob deGrom‘s wife Stacey gave birth to their second child, Aniston Grace deGrom.

Yoenis Cespedes has not played golf since July according to Mike Puma of The New York Post. He does miss it, but doesn’t plan on playing it again anytime soon. Critics connected his injuries in the past to his time spent playing golf.

Robert Gsellman starts on Sunday with Jeurys Familia, Jerry Blevins, Anthony Swarzak, AJ Ramos, and Rafael Montero all behind him while the Mets face the Miami Marlins.

Jen Pawol was the home-plate umpire for the Detroit Tigers’ game against Florida Southern on Thursday. The 41-year-old is one of two female umpires in professional baseball; the other being Emma Charlesworth-Seiler.

Pawol will continuing umpiring games throughout spring training before returning to the minor leagues during the regular season.
