Mets ace Kodai Senga will throw a bullpen session in the coming days, according to Anthony DiComo of mlb.com. Another bullpen session will likely follow this before a rehab assignment.
“Physically, [he’s] feeling well,” Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said before last night’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals. “But as far as how he’s feeling – shoulder and all that – it’s all good news.”
Senga was placed on the 60-day IL on Opening Day. The earliest he can return is May 27.
