Good morning, Mets fans!

Justin Verlander is scheduled to throw a bullpen session in Port St. Lucie today, the second he’s thrown since arriving there over the weekend. If all goes well, Verlander will throw live batting practice and then make a rehab start shortly thereafter. Assuming there are no setbacks, Verlander could join the Mets at the end of next week. He was placed on the injured list back on Opening Day due to a right teres major strain.
