Good morning, Mets fans!

Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported Sunday that Joe Maddon wants to manage again and is interested in the Mets’ managerial opening. Maddon last managed the Angels from 2020-22, getting fired last June. The three-time Manager of the Year led the Rays to their first AL Pennant in 2008, and brought the Cubs to their first title in 108 years in 2016.

Click meanwhile served as Houston’s GM from 2020-2022, helping guide the Astros to two AL Pennants and a World Series ring.
