The Mets have another afternoon game scheduled today as Zack Wheeler (5-5, 4.94 ERA) will face off against Jose Quintana (4-6, 3.87 ERA). The game can be viewed on WPIX and 710 WOR at 2:20 p.m.

Jeff McNeil‘s late-inning heroics led the Mets to a 5-4 victory yesterday. Brooks Pounders, Seth Lugo, and Edwin Diaz contributed 4.2 scoreless frames out of the bullpen. The win, which evened their series with the Cubs, still leaves four games back of the second spot in the NL Wild Card race.
