Good morning, Mets fans!

It’s officially official – J.D. Martinez has donned the blue and orange and was in Mets camp in Port St. Lucie on Saturday.

The Mets went on to drop Saturday’s Grapefruit League matchup against the Astros 13-5. They will look to bounce back on Sunday in their final Clover Park game of the spring against the Washington Nationals. It will be Luis Severino (1-0, 1.00 ERA) on the mound for the Mets in the first game.

While half of the club remains in Port St. Lucie, the other half will head to Jupiter to take on the Marlins in a 1:10 p.m. matchup as it’s all about the split squad on Sunday. Tylor Megill (1-2, 3.45 ERA) will take the mound in Game 2 for the Mets in Jupiter.
