The Mets are expected to interview Gary LaRocque to potentially fill their general manager position.

Mike Puma of the New York Post originally reported on Thursday that the Mets had interest in Dan Duquette for their GM position. However, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reported a few hours later that Duquette is not a candidate for the Mets in their search.

The Mets will part ways with Binghamton hitting coach Val Pascucci, St. Lucie pitching coach Marc Valdes and Kingsport manager Sean Ratliff, in addition to Las Vegas pitching coach Frank Viola per DiComo of MLB.com.

Yahoo Sports released their 2018 All-MLB Team which included Jacob deGrom who appeared as one of the team’s starters after unanimously appearing on all 60 ballots.

Andres Gimenez (no. 55), Peter Alonso (no. 58), Jarred Kelenic (no. 62) and Justin Dunn (no. 89) all made MLB Pipeline’s top 100 prospect list.
