Francisco Lindor has been named the 2022 Marvin Miller Man of the Year by the Major League Baseball Players Association. For the award, players were asked to vote for the player they “most respect based on his leadership on the field and in the community.” In addition to being an involved and vocal leader on the field, Lindor has done plenty of work for his community in his free time and was a dedicated champion of players’ rights during the MLB lockout involving CBA negotiations this past offseason.
