Good morning, Mets fans!

Former Met and Yankees lefty Justin Wilson left Monday night’s game with “tightness in his left shoulder,” according to the team. He will be reevaluated today.

The Mets fell to the Houston Astros on Monday afternoon at the Ballpark of Palm Beaches by a score of 5-4. New York was able to rally in the eighth with a three-run homer from Albert Amora Jr. but couldn’t muster up runs in the final inning to mount the comeback.

The Mets will look to bounce back this afternoon as they take on the Marlins at Clover Park. Right-handed pitcher Marcus Stroman will be on the bump for New York for his second start of spring training.

First pitch is set for 1:10 p.m. and can be watched on SNY.

Without any further ado, let’s get into Tuesday’s briefing.
