The Arizona Diamondbacks have reportedly scouted the Mets’ and Yankees’ farm systems in a potential deal involving Eugenio Suárez, according to SNY. The D-backs are expected to be sellers, and Suárez is considered their most likely trade chip, per The Athletic.
Jon Heyman of the New York Post then noted that the Mets are not in on Suárez and would prefer pitching and an outfielder.
