Good Morning Mets Fans!

Jacob deGrom will face the Marlins today as he’ll try to take the Mets’ record to .500. He’ll be facing Hector Noesi. The game can only be streamed only on the Marlins radio WINZ 940 at 1:05 p.m.

Yesterday, Jason Vargas continued his hot spring with four scoreless innings and Brandon Nimmo reached base three times. Devin Mesoraco also contributed a pair of doubles. However, Jacob Rhame allowed four runs in his one and a third innings of work to ruin Vargas’ start. Luis Avilan also permitted his first two runs of the spring.

A memorable moment in the game occurred in the fifth inning when Josh Reddick topped a ball to Seth Lugo, who threw to first base. The throw tailed, causing Reddick and Pete “Brick Wall” Alonso to collide. Even though Reddick crumpled to the floor, Alonso barely flinched.
