According to Michael Mayer of MMO, the Mets and Port St. Lucie will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in order to unveil the new renovations made to Clover Park. The ceremony will be held before the Mets’ first Spring Training game tomorrow and will begin at 10AM.

Wilson Ramos will catch Rick Porcello during tomorrow’s split squad game, while Marcus Stroman is scheduled to pitch in the other game of the day, reports Mike Puma of the New York Post. Ramos has stated that he would like to get to know his new pitchers as much as possible during these Spring Training match ups.

Mets radio announcer Wayne Randazzo did Mets fans a solid by creating a Spring Training broadcast schedule that notes which games will be on SNY, WCBS 880, or PIX 11.

The Mets will play an exhibition game on March 24 against the Orioles at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, reports Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Tickets will only be available to members of the U.S. Navy.

Per Joon Lee of ESPN: Catcher Jonathan Lucroy, who spent the 2016-2019 seasons in the AL West, remembers having to switch signs “after every single pitch” while facing the Houston Astros.

According to Chris Cotillo of Mass Live, Lucroy also remembers Mike Fiers telling him of the Astros’ cheating ways two years ago. The Athletics ended up reporting this to MLB, but nothing came of it.

Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that former Blue Jays pitcher Mike Bolsinger, who sued the Astros after claiming that their cheating resulted in his demotion and subsequent exit from Major League Baseball, has added Astros owner Jim Crane and “Codebreaker” intern Derek Vigoa to his suit.

Yankees pitcher Luis Severino is dealing with forearm soreness, according to James Wagner of The New York Times. Jack Curry of YES Network added that Severino will consult with Dr. Chris Ahmad and shut down all activities for a few days.

Per Jon Heyman of MLB Network: Phillies catcher JT Realmuto has lost his arbitration case and will earn $10M.

According to The Comeback, several Little League organizations in New York, Pennsylvania, and California have chosen not to use the “Astros” name for their teams.

In his latest for The Athletic, Andy McCullough asks several general managers around the league if they would know whether or not their teams were cheating.

Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports that the new Sunday Night Baseball team on ESPN will consist of play-by-play announcer Matt Vasgersian and analyst Alex Rodriguez, while Buster Olney covers on-field reporting. Jessica Mendoza will remain with ESPN as an analyst for some of their other TV broadcasts, as well as for their World Series radio broadcasts.
