After Sunday’s game was suspended due to inclement weather, the Mets are back in action tonight at 7:10 against the Phillies. David Peterson is slated to get the start for the Mets against Chase Anderson.

Marcus Stroman voiced his displeasure with Sunday’s game even starting before it was eventually suspended.
During a Zoom call on Sunday, J.D. Davis said he is not sure when he will return, but that he feels he is progressing in the right way.

On Friday, two Phillies fans caught a Freddie Freeman home run, and then gave it to a young Braves fan. Freeman and Bryce Harper surprised the Phillies fan with an autographed baseball.
Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reported that Angels outfielder Dexter Fowler tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season.
