It was a quiet day in Mets land, as well as across MLB. But with the Winter Meetings coming up in early December, that silence might not last much longer.
Former Mets Cleon Jones and Mookie Wilson, as well as the late Shannon Forde and vice president of media relations Jay Horwitz were inducted into the New York state Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday.

Forde, a former Mets public relations director, died in 2016 of breast cancer at the age of 44.
