Good Morning Mets Fans ! The Metropolitans wrapped up their last weekend of spring training with an 8-4 win over the rival, Washington Nationals.

Tim Peterson took the ball for the team and worked two scoreless innings as he continues to make a push for the final spot in the team’s bullpen to start the 2019 regular season. Jeff McNeil plated four RBI on the day while Robinson Cano and Michael Conforto collected two hits each on the offensive side. Juan Lagares also homered in Sunday’s contest.

The Metropolitans play their final game of the spring this afternoon, as they take on the Baltimore Orioles. Zack Wheeler is scheduled to take the mound for New York and will be opposed by Dylan Bundy. Today’s game is scheduled to begin at 1:05 PM ET.
