Good morning, Mets fans!

As reported by ESPN, former prospective Mets owner (and of course former Yankee) Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore are in the process of finalizing a deal to purchase the Minnesota Timberwolves from majority owner Glen Taylor. Once the deal is finalized, it is expected that Taylor will continue to have full control of the team for the 2021-2022 seasons before Rodriguez and Lore take over in 2023.

Satruday’s loss was a disappointing one, but we have more Mets baseball this afternoon as the Mets and Marlins conclude their series at 1:10 p.m. ET. Marcus Stroman (1-0, 1.50 ERA) will be back on the mound for the Mets this afternoon.
