They’ve already approached Miami billionaire Jorge Mas, who has declined the pair. They’ve since pivoted to Wayne Rothbaum, the founder of Quogue Capital, and JPMorgan, per Scott Soshnick of Variety.

Jon Heyman of Fancred tweeted out that the Mets have joined the lengthy list of teams who have agreed to pay non-player personal through May 31st.

Minor League Baseball has officially agreed to scale down by 120 teams, per J.J. Cooper of Baseball America. Two of the Mets’ affiliates, the Kingsport Mets and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, are rumored to be on the chopping block.
