The Mets open up a series down 95 tonight against the Phillies. If you are feeling like you just experienced this before, that makes sense! The Mets and Phillies just matched up against each other last weekend with the Mets taking two of three games in that series. Since then, the Mets have played four games in three days against the Braves getting the series split. The Phillies had an off day followed by back to back losses against the Rangers.

Taijuan Walker will make his third start of the season for the Mets tonight. All three starts this season will have been against the Phillies. He left his first start after two innings of work due to an injury.
