He was then the 26th man on the roster three weeks later but the games got rained out.

Notes

Brandon Nimmo has started 23 games in left field, 21 in center and 17 in right this season. According to Elias, only four other Mets players made 15 or more starts at all three outfield spots in one season: Cleon Jones in 1968 (LF 88, CF 20, RF 17); Tsuyoshi Shinjo in 2001 (24–47–28); Endy Chavez in 2006 (22– 25–32); and Angel Pagan in 2010 (22–88–29).

The Mets have had 49 players appear in at least one game this year. Only three other teams have used so many players before the All-Star break in one season. The Angels have used 50 players this year, the Rangers used 50 players in 2014 and the Braves used 49 players prior to the break in 2015. Research courtesy of the Elias Sports Bureau.

Austin Voth will be the fourth starting pitcher to make his major league debut vs. the Mets this year. The three others each earned a win. Philadelphia’s Enyel De Los Santos on July 10, Miami’s Pablo Lopez on June 30 and Atlanta’s Mike Soroka on May 1.

Let’s Go Mets!
