
The New York Mets travel to The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches to play the Washington Nationals. Fifth starter hopeful Robert Gsellman will be on the mound for the Mets against right-hander Erick Fedde for the Nats.
Gsellman will be making his fifth appearance this spring (fourth start) with a 2.25 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP in 12 innings. He is battling for the Mets final rotation spot with Seth Lugo and Zack Wheeler.
Also expected to pitch for the Mets today are RHP Paul Sewald, RHP Hansel Robles, LHP Josh Smoker and RHP Fernando Salas.
Today’s game has a 1:05 PM start, it will not be available via SNY or WOR. It will be carried on the Nats TV channel MASN however.
