Yesterday was a whirlwind! At the start of the game, things were looking good for the Mets who jumped out to an early lead and made a trade for Miami’s closer indicating that the Mets were intent on competing at a high level in 2018. Then Montero faltered and the Mets lost the lead. But they rallied and won the game. So the Mets look to make it two in a row today.

The Mets are 7-3 in their last 10 games. New York is 3-2 on its season high-tying 10-game road trip (San Diego, Seattle, Colorado). The Mets are 17-12 in their last 29 games. The Mets are 23-25 on the road…New York has five come-from-behind wins in their last nine games.
