The Mets and Dodgers are set to play the second game of their four game series tonight, fresh off another Mets win last night. The headliner of the game was Steven Matz who won his 5th straight. The bullpen was able to put together 3 shutout innings with Familia collecting his ‘s 1th save of the season, and 3rd in 3 days. On the offensive side of the ball: more of the same. Granderson and Plawecki hit homers on the night while Cespedes had another RBI. Tonight deGrom looks to keep it going against Alex Wood.

LHP Josh Edgin was recalled from his rehab assignment and then assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas. He will remain there while working on his velocity which was at 87-88 mph during his most recent rehab appearance.

The Mets rank second in the majors with a 2.77 team ERA. They are fourth in the majors with 286 strikeouts and have allowed the fewest homers (17).
