The Mets will look to salvage the final game of their series in Milwaukee with Jacob deGrom leading the charge for New York.  The Mets are 29-29 all-time on Mother’s Day…New York has won four straight games on Mother’s Day.

DeGrom is second in the National League with 60 strikeouts, two behind Max Scherzer. He ranks third in the majors, behind Chris Sale (85). DeGrom has 51 strikeouts in his last 30.2 innings.  Jacob deGrom has hit in three straight games, equaling a career-best. He is 4-7 (.571) in his last three games.

Jay Bruce has hit 13 homers in 68 at-bats at Miller Park. The 13 homers are his most in visiting ballpark (other than Citi Field and Great American Ball Park). Neil Walker has 11 homers in 54 at-bats at Miller Park, including two this series. Curtis Granderson has hit five homers in 61 at-bats at Miller Park.

Jose Reyes is back in the leadoff spot with Michael Conforto batting third. With Jay Bruce getting the day off, Curtis Granderson is in right field and Juan Lagares is in center.
