RHP Jacob deGrom (1-1, 2.84) vs. RHP Bartolo Colón (1-2, 5.59)
SNY • WOR 710 AM • ESPN 1050 AM
After winning the series opener, the Mets dropped the second game of the series 9-7 on Tuesday night. There are still two games to go in Atlanta and hopefully they can nail down a victory tonight with Jacob deGrom on the mound.
Infielder Wilmer Flores will be activated from the disabled list and join the Mets tonight in Atlanta. Flores has been on the disabled list since April 21 due to a knee infection.
Jacob deGrom has 35 strikeouts over his last three starts (19.2 innings). The last Mets pitcher with 35 strikeouts in a three start stretch was Dwight Gooden, May 25-June 4, 1985. DeGrom has 44 strikeouts overall this year, tied with Clayton Kershaw for the National League lead and is tied for fourth in the majors.
